Airspace Organisation

Airspace Organisation Croatia Control provides flight information service and performs alerting service in the Zagreb Flight Information Region (Zagreb FIR) which extends beyond Croatian airspace to the limits defined by international agreements that are binding on the Republic of Croatia.

The organisation and structure of the Zagreb FIR is, at the proposal of the National Airspace Management Committee, determined by the minister responsible for civil air traffic, with prior consent by the Defence Minister.

The organisation and structure of the Zagreb FIR, as well as the areas where the provision of air navigation services has been delegated to the providers from adjacent states, limits of control zones, flight rules within particular classes of airspace, then prohibited, restricted and danger areas, areas for performing sporting and recreational activities, lower and upper airspace charts, VFR routes etc. are published in relevant parts of the AIP Croatia and in the VFR Manual which you can find here.
