The Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) includes timely provision of aeronautical information in digital format from originator to user at an appropriate quality level.
The Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) comprises the collection, initial processing, editing, formatting, publication, storage and distribution of aeronautical information essential for the safety, regularity and efficiency of both international and national air navigation.
Aeronautical information is provided in the form of Integrated Aeronautical Information Package (eAIP, including: AMDT/SUP and AIC, NOTAM and PIB, a list of valid NOTAMs and checklists), via the European AIS Database (EAD), and optical media.
Other publications, such as the VFR Manual and VFR charts, are also available in optical media and print. Preflight briefing is also provided at all airports where the air traffic control service is in place.
The work processes are based on international standards, recommended practices and guidelines, as well as on the provisions of the Air Traffic Law and supporting regulations.
We are committed to meet the needs and expectations of all stakeholders, to introduce innovations and to ensure continous improvement. We invite all users to submit their proposals in questionnaires and thus contribute to the improvement of this service.
