Croatia Control’s representatives are participating in the 33rd European Association for Aviation Psychology (EAAP) Conference being held September 24-28 in Dubrovnik, on the overall theme \u201cConnecting People, Organizations and Technology in Aviation\u201d, which is inspired by the increasing importance of a systems approach to aviation development and safety.

\nThe conference gathering 280 participants from 48 countries was opened by Andr\u00e9 Droog, EAAP President, and, on behalf of CCL as one of the conference sponsors, greeted by Nino Karamati\u0107, CCL\u2019s Director of HRM, Legal and Financial Division.
\n
\n\u201cOut of 765 employees of ours, 272 of them are air traffic controllers, who have diverse programs helping them to cope better with stressful situations,\u201d said Karamati\u0107, adding that CCL conducts preventive and reactive stress management programs. \u201cPreventive stress management includes workshops on stress, team resource management programs and medical recreation, whereas the reactive stress management pertains to a critical incident stress management program,\u201d he added.

\nThe conference will focus on aviation psychology development and human factors, just culture and reporting, the efficiency of air traffic management, behavior monitoring, disorientation and recovery, selection and validation, workload and fatigue, the training and mental health of aeronautical personnel.

\nAlong the presentation of papers, the conference will include many workshops and a visit to the Dubrovnik air traffic control tower.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
