{"id":2059,"date":"2016-04-01T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-04-01T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webb1.crocontrol.hr\/?p=2059"},"modified":"2025-08-08T13:54:39","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T11:54:39","slug":"seafra-real-time-simulation","status":"publish","type":"novosti","link":"https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/en\/media\/news\/seafra-real-time-simulation\/","title":{"rendered":"SEAFRA Real-Time Simulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Between 16th and 25th of March 2016 at HungaroControl\u2019s Centre of Research, Development and Simulation (CRDS), 39 Air Traffic Controllers and ATM experts from Croatia Control (CCL) and Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services (SMATSA), supported by BHANSA (Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency,) successfully participated in the SEAFRA (South-East Axis Free Route Airspace) Real-Time Simulation.<\/p>\n<p>The controllers arrived in Budapest in order to test different scenarios for the improvement of implementation of the cross-border free route planning concept. CCL and SMATSA, supported by BHANSA, are planning to introduce the SEAFRA Concept without time restrictions as of 8th of December 2016. Therefore the need for validation of its impact on airspace sector configuration, with special attention to operational and technological solutions was recognised.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large size-full is-style-full-width\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2020\/05\/SEAFRA-simulation-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2319\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2020\/05\/SEAFRA-simulation-2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2020\/05\/SEAFRA-simulation-2-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>A wide variety of impacts was assessed and evaluated during the SEAFRA RTS, with special attention to human factors such as situational awareness and workload, as well as safety matters, in order to enable future FRA operations in the area with no or tolerable impact on all parts of ATM systems of participating ANSPs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-13639\" src=\"https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-300x63.webp\" alt=\"En co funded by the eu pos\" width=\"300\" height=\"63\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-300x63.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-1024x215.webp 1024w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-768x161.webp 768w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-1536x322.webp 1536w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-2048x430.webp 2048w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-480x101.webp 480w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-520x109.webp 520w, https:\/\/www.crocontrol.hr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/07\/EN-Co-funded-by-the-EU_POS-640x134.webp 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This project is one of the key improvements in line with the EU initiative on establishing the Single European Sky regardless of state or even FAB borders, aiming to enhance safety and efficiency, and to increase capacity of air traffic in Europe.
