In the first eight months this year 353,375 flights were performed in the airspace under the responsibility of Croatia Control Ltd, which is by 3.9% more than in the same period last year. Overflights made most of air traffic in total (84.2%), and the rest covered take offs and landings.

\nA record number of flights were achieved despite adverse weather conditions during the peak months (May-August).

\nThe busiest day was Saturday, 2 August 2014, when air traffic controllers handled 2.590 aircraft. As compared to the busiest day last year (10 August 2013), this makes 2.8% more aircraft being provided air traffic control service in one day.

\nThis August was also the busiest month, recording 67,168 flights (daily average of 2,066 flights), which makes an increase of 5.8% as compared to last August (daily average of 1,949 flights).
