On the night of 27\/28 June 2013 the FMTP connection between Zagreb and Budapest was put into operation, after the last tests had been conducted.<\/p>\n
The Flight Message Transfer Protocol (FMTP) is a new network protocol which, following the transition to more current means of communication and making use of standard network technologies (TCP\/IP), enhances the former mode of flight data exchange b etween adjacent air navigation service providers.<\/p>\n
The X-Bone Network, defined and set up within the Functional Airspace Block of Central Europe (FAB CE), was the basis for the establishment of this connection.<\/p>\n
This transition fulfils the requirements set in the EU regulations (Single European Sky Interoperability Implementing Rules) stipulating the transfer to a new standard of flight data exchange for all European air navigation service providers.<\/p>\n
Tests and preparations for the transition to other neighbouring ATC centres that has established the flight data exchange with CCL are in progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
